Abstrak

Latar belakang: Isu pernikahan dini merupakan salah satu pelanggaran HAM di kalangan perempuan muda. Beberapa faktor penyebabnya dapat dipicu dari dalam diri maupun lingkungan sekitar seseorang. Dampak dari pernikahan dini secara psikologis dapat menganggu gangguan mental, tekanan sosial dan kecanduan maupun dampak kesehatan adalah keguguran, persalinan premature, berat badan lahir rendah dan kelainan bawaan, mudah terjadi infeksi, anemia kehamilan dan kematian ibu serta berbagai dampak lainnya. Tujuan: Memberikan informasi melalui penyuluhan tentang dampak dari pernikahan dini kepada perwakilan OSIS SMP di Kota Ternate. Metode: Kegiatan penyuluhan dilaksanakan di Royal Resto Function Kelurahan Kalumpang Kecamatan Kota Ternate Tengah yang diikuti oleh perwakilan OSIS SMP di Kota Ternate sebanyak 36 orang. Pre-test diberikan sebelum penyuluhan berlangsung, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemberian penyuluhan tentang dampak pernikahan dini menggunakan media PPT dan proyektor. Kegiatan diakhiri dengan pemberian post-test kepada para peserta. Hasil: Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan bagi peserta berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test dengan rata-rata nilai post tes lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata pre-test. Kesimpulan: Terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang dampak pernikahan dini pada perwakilan OSIS SMP di Kota Ternate.

Abstract

Background:  The issue Early marriage is a form of human right violation among young women. Several causative factors can be triggered from within and from the environment around a person. The impact of early marriage psychologically can interfere with mental disorders, social pressure and addiction as well as health impacts, namely miscarriage, premature labor, low birth weight and congenital abnormalities, easy infection, anemia of pregnancy and maternal death. Objective: To Provide information through counseling about early marriage to representatives of the Middle School Student Council in Ternate City. Method: The counseling activity was carried out at the Royal Resto Function of Kalumpang Village, Central Ternate City District, which was attended by representatives of Middle School Student Council from Ternate City 36 people. The pre-test was given before the counseling took place, then continued with the provision of counseling on early marriage using PPT and projector media. The activity ended with giving post-tests to the participants. Result: There is an increase in knowledge for participants based on the results of the pre-test and post-test with an average post-test score higher than the pre-test average score. Conclusion: There was an increase in knowledge about early marriage among representatives of Ternate Junior High School Student Council.
