Abstract

Latar belakang : Peningkatan mutu pelayanan kesehatan memerlukan kerjasama lintas profesi melalui program pendidikan yang berintegrasi antar program studi yakni Interprofessional Education (IPE). Pada studi awal sebelum intervensi ditemukan beberapa masalah kesehatan yaitu hipertensi, hiperurisemia dan karies gigi. Permasalah tersebut dapat saling berkaitan dan saling mempengaruhi prognosis penyakit tersebut. Prevalensi Hipertensi di Indonesia sekitar 34,1 % dan diperkirakan terdapat lebih dari 63 juta kasus pada 2021. Prevalensi hiperuresemia di Indonesia tinggi dalam kawasan Asia Tenggara. Prevalensi penderita karies gigi sekitar 88,8% penduduk Indonesia. Tiga masalah tadi dapat saling terkait Kadar asam urat darah yang tinggi tidak hanya meningkatkan risiko hipertensi melalui efek vaskular dan ginjal, tetapi juga memengaruhi kesehatan mulut dengan memperparah inflamasi gusi dan predisposisi karies menunjukkan keterkaitan yang erat antara penyakit sistemik dan oral, maka dari hal tersebut perlu dilaksanakan pencegahan terutama dengan pemberian pengetahuan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 Oktober 2024 di Wilayah kelurahan Sendangmulyo, Kota Semarang. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah komunitas binaan lansia dan anak anak di wilayah Kelurahan Sendangmulyo, Kota Semarang terbagi 3 keluarga binaan yang berjumlah 9 warga. Metode : Metode pelaksanaan berupa ceramah penyuluhan dan dilaksanakan pretest postest, pengukuran tekanan darah, pengukuran asam urat dan pemeriksaan gigi mulut. Hasil : Pretest materi hipertensi nilai 16/18 dari total soal, kemudian setelah hasil posttest pasien mendapatkan 18/18. Intervensi penyuluhan tentang hiperurisemia, pretest nilai 18/20 dari total soal, posttest 20/20. Kesimpulan : Pretest kesehat gigi pasien mendapatkan nilai 25/30, pada hasil posttest pasien mendapatkan 30/30.

Abstract

Background : Improving the quality of health services requires cross-professional cooperation through educational programs that integrate between study programs, namely Interprofessional Education (IPE). In the initial study before the intervention, several health problems were found, namely hypertension, hyperuricemia and dental caries. The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is around 34.1% and it is estimated that there will be more than 63 million cases in 2021. The prevalence of hyperuresemia in Indonesia is high in the Southeast Asian region. The prevalence of dental caries is around 88.8% of the Indonesian population. The three problems can be interrelated High blood uric acid levels not only increase the risk of hypertension through vascular and kidney effects. This community service activity was held on October 10, 2024 in the Sendangmulyo sub-district area, Semarang City. The target in this activity is the assisted community of the elderly and children in the Sendangmulyo Village area, Semarang City divided into 3 assisted families totaling 9 residents. Method : The method of implementation is in the form of counseling lectures and is carried out pretest postest, blood pressure measurement, uric acid measurement and oral dental examination. Result : The pretest of hypertension material is 16/18 out of the total questions, then after the results of the posttest the patient gets 18/18. Counseling intervention on hyperuricemia, pretest score 18/20 out of total questions, posttest 20/20. Conclusion : The patient's dental health pretest gets a score of 25/30, in the posttest results the patient gets 30/30.
