Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be written in English. The manuscript must not have been previously published and will not be published in any other journal, either in part or in full, during the article processing or after publication.   2. Submitted manuscripts should be scientific writings based on community service activities in various forms, such as counseling, mentoring, community empowerment, and reports on innovative applied technology development for both health and non-health sectors. Manuscripts must be written in article format following the structure: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion (combined), Conclusion, in accordance with the provided template. Authors are required to include at least one image/documentation of the activities.
  3. Authors must register for a journal account before submitting and uploading manuscripts to the Journal of Computing and Smart Ecosystem. The number of references should be between 15 and 40, using Mendeley with the IEEE citation style. Manuscripts will be published after undergoing a peer-review process and being accepted. The journal will notify authors if their manuscript is not published. All submitted manuscripts and illustrations become the legal property of the publisher and may not be published in other media without official permission. Manuscripts citing publications from Journal of Computing and Smart Ecosystem will be given special consideration by the Editor.
