This is because of its role and contribution to an independent and progressive effort to empower or develop Islamic communities in Indonesia by using a modern Islamic management approach. Aisyiyah is one of the first autonomous organizations (Ortom) born from the womb of Muhammadiyah, which has the same goals as Muhammadiyah. Aisyiyah has a visionary strategic special program, namely towards women. The role and function of women is the most important part in the movement of the wheels of life, this field is the area that Sunnah has been working on until now. That is, all of its movements are always da'wah-minded, that is, have a spirit, think, and act da'wah. The da'wah character inherent in Muhammadiyah makes him view all problems from the da'wah point of view, namely changing the situation for the better in accordance with the principles of Islamic teachings. Besides that, Muhammadiyah is an organization with a tajdid or renewal character. His soul, thoughts, and actions are always renewing which leads to changes in the direction of superior progress. Fahmi Choirudin[email protected]<p>Muhammadiyah is an Islamic reform organization that has had a major impact on the progress of Muslims in Indonesia. The reforms carried out by Muhammadiyah cover multidimensions, such as in the fields of education, health, economy and culture. In the field of education, Muhammadiyah modernized Islamic education, which is important for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah improved the Islamic education curriculum by incorporating Islamic religious education into public schools and secular knowledge into religious schools. The concept of HIS med the Qur'an, launched by Muhammadiyah, could mean that public schools plus Islamic subjects became a model not only for educational institutions under Muhammadiyah, but also used by other Muslim groups, which made education an area of concern. In addition, Muhammadiyah also organized the modernization of madrasahs by integrating them with the pesantren system. Modernization took place intensely in the form of the introduction of modern educational institutional elements and modern science subjects. Muhammadiyah's educational reform led to various advances in various fields of Indonesian society. The historicity of Muhammadiyah as an educational movement can be referred to the formulation of the goals of Muhammadiyah's presence from 1921 to 1971 which describes education as the basis of its movements and steps. The practical challenge is confronted and resolved by the practitioners of preaching by their respective context of time and place, whereas the scholarly challenge is attempted to be resolved by the scholars of preaching. One of the scholarly challenges of preaching is when it is confronted with the dynamic and continuously evolving world of knowledge. This is where new approaches are needed that are not only normative-doctrinal but also historical-contextual. This literature study was conducted to examine two relatively new approaches in the study of preaching, \the philosophical approach and the anthropological approach. The results show that the philosophical approach, which is included in the humanities, is very useful as a tool in preaching activities and as a tool for reflection on the knowledge of preaching. Meanwhile, the anthropological approach, which is a part of social sciences, is very useful in portraying preaching from the perspective of human reality, so that the knowledge of preaching can be more humanistic.
